Our Ireland trip is fast approaching (June 6) and with our itinerary set, it has been suggested that since we have a couple of "free"days in Dublin before leaving for home that we go to Howth.  What is your recommendation on getting there and what to see?

The Dart train will take you to Howth. My favorite activity is the cliff walk.

As Roy suggested the cliff walk is very good. Howth Castle is not open to the public. In the village is a harbor and piers, lighthouse, ruin of an abbey, Martello tower and beaches. Malahide a little farther north holds Malahide Castle.
