Wow! We made this our first scheduled stop after spending 2 days in Dublin back in march. I'm sure we saw the opening in the rock structure and the church....but what a clever idea putting the 2 together in 1 photo! Dan

Michele:

Although most go to Cong because of the "Quiet Man" movie connection, the village, the woods, and the area is stunning on its own accord. I loved the Monk's Fishing Hut and the story behind that. It sure is a place I would like to return to sometime, as I found it absolutely wonderful to walk around the woods, the river, and the abbey ruins one day.

Thanks for bringing back these memories.

For the "Quiet Man" folks, this had to be a special moment when Maureen O'Hara came back to the village.
