Can someone help me with timing advice? We arrive Dublin airport approximately 9:30 in the morning and will be taking an Airlink Express Coach bus to Heuston Train Station (approx 50 minutes according to the website) Buses leave every 30 min. Assuming we need to get through customs, find the bus, buy the tickets etc., can anyone advise me what a safe amount of travel time we need to make sure we don't miss our train? There is a train at 13:10, and another at 15:10. Are there restaurants or shops at Heuston Station where we could grab a bite if we have extra time? Any help is appreciated! Nancy
The Dublin bus 747 service is every 15 minutes and takes an hour or there abouts to get to Heuston. You can book on line but I would guess thats out. so you would have to tender the exact fare when you board the bus. Problem I have is that trawling through the Dublin Bus web site I cannot find how much this is... I have emailed them and explained that my engineering degree did not cover the cost of bus fares and hopefully I will be able to give you a price when they get back to me.
The fee is 6euro each so you may have to buy something from one of the newsagents in Arrivals, to get some small change
