I would definitely call my bank if I were you. I recently was in Ireland and used my ATM card, but I have a 4-digit PIN number. Worked just fine!

Some ATMs in Ireland will accept 6-digit PINs. However the majority of them require a 4-digit PIN. I called my bank and they told me that the ATM machines in Ireland will accept the first four digits of my 6-digit pin.

Hope that's true!

Just got an email from Bank of Ireland reiterating that ATMs in Ireland require a 4-digit PIN. I hope your bank is right. Maybe you should have back-up plans just in case.
