Donegal Bluestack Walking Festival

Hi Michele:

Have you, or anyone else on the Forum ever participated in the Donegal Bluestack Walking Festival?  I was sort of wondering how intense the terrain is during the walk, how far, and if it is something to consider doing?

I want to go to Donegal, and might plan to do that event if it would be when I could travel there.

Thanks for any information.

Monty

Monty,

I have not attended. But why not send an email to the Bluestack Ramblers: BluestackRamblers@yahoo.co.uk

On their website they are describing walks as "moderate" and "strenuous". I'm sure they could fill you in on the terraine and length of time.

Thanks for the email information.  I am solid walker in my mid 50s, but not certain how the terrain would affect things.  Figure I could do 3-5 miles without much problem, but wouldn't want to start something I couldn't finish.
