Travelling by boat in the west.

Hi Michelle, my girlfriend is coming to ireland for her 2nd visit on her birthday next month. She'll be flying into shannon and then coming to galway.

I would love to surprise her by bringing her to galway by boat/ferry.

Is there anyway I could do this?

I had thought of renting a boat but I don't have any sailing experience

so I doubt we'd survive the trip smile.

GG,

Welcome to my forum. I suppose you could go from Doolin to the Aran Islands and then the islands to Galway or Rossaveal. However, the Doolin ferries don't go all year. Go to my Transport page for links to the ferries. Hope it works out for you.

Michele
