I only have cash or debit card.  What other means of transportation are possible?

Welcome to my forum. Public transportation in Ireland is bus and/or train. You can view the various websites from my Transport page.

Have you checked with Dooley about renting with a debit card? Might be possible if you take all insurance and pay up front. Check with them to see.

But if you are able to use a debit card, PLEASE read Michele's thread on car rentals, as there may be a hold and/or deposit on the card.
