Tony,

Murray's has been "soaking" people for extra charges for quite a while now. Cowboy Craic (Bit) had her car price doubled by them and never did get any money back. You can only do things like that for so long before it catches up with you. It is best business practice to always be honest, truthful and treat your customers the way you would like to be treated. I'm sure the recession accelerated the liquidation process.

I used Murray's several times and never had any problems, booked through Kemwel.

Perhaps it depended on which depot you rented from. But I'm glad you didn't get burned. It will be interesting to see how the car rental game goes next year.
