Would this be too much for a day trip?

We've planned a lot to see on our trip to Ireland, but still have a few more day tripsto get planned.

Since we will be staying up in Fuerty, we were wondering if we would be biting off a bit too much if we took a day trip down to Glendalough and that area.

Yes, probably, 120 + miles each way so about 3 hours plus stops. Clonmacnoise would be a better option

thanks Tony, I thought it might be.

We visited Clonmacnoise on our last trip, but feel it is worth another look, so it is n our agenda as well.

I think Glendalough is too far. Here is a link to Roscommon: http://www.visitroscommon.com/index.html

Have you been to Roscommon Abbey? I think you've been to Boyle Abbey.
