Not really a question...just super excited!!!!!!!

Hi, Mom and I are returning to Ireland March 2013!!! We'll be there for mom's birthday 3/13 and St. Patrick's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're likely doing a 5 day / 4 night CIE tour, which ends in Bunratty. Then we have 3 nights to figure out what we want to do...1. Maybe Galway and Aran Islands, 2. Maybe Kinsale, 3. Maybe we don't know... Then we're going to spend our last seven nights at Gate Lodge Cottage in Adare!!!!!!!!

Totally excited and can't wait to start booking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maggie,

I can feel your excitement from here! You have a while but it will be fun deciding on what to do with your three nights that are not yet accounted for. Since you won't have a car, I'm leaning toward Galway. There will be much more available there for you and your mother in in March.

What CIE tour are you taking? Did you get a discount for booking so far in advance?

Michele,

Thank you for your recommendation.

We're 99.9% sure we're taking the 5 Day Taste of Ireland tour. We think it's just perfect. We'll see Rock of Cashel again (not a tour, but a photo opportunity). We'll do the ROK (this time I won't be driving so I can actually see it). We'll go to Blarney Castle (we drove right by it last time and both want to see it). AND we'll go to Bunratty Medieval Dinner Show, (we canceled our reservations on our first trip because after 15 days of touring Ireland we were to exhausted).

Once we finalize the booking we'll get the 10% discount. Is there anyway to get more??? ;)

Maggie,

Sign up for CIE Tours newsletter. They offer specials and discounts periodically. Certain tours are eligible for 55 and over discount. Don't know if that applies to your situation or not. If you book with a travel agent the agent gets 10% commission. So booking directly with CIE should mean that discount for yourself.

Michele, I am on their mailing list and will keep my eye out... I'm turning 40 later this year but someone I'm traveling with (it's me and my mom) is eligible for the 55 and smiling discount... ;)
