I have a tip in regards to washcloths. Like Michele said, not all B&Bs provide them. I found this out the hard way the first time we went to Ireland. ;) From then on I take a package of Olay Daily Facials. We use one to wash our face, then that same one works well as a washcloth for the rest of our body. Obviously, throw it away when finished. I know it's not necessarily environmentally friendly, but it is better solution, in my opinion, than carrying our own wash cloths or being without a washcloth.
Another tip, in case you want to be more environmetally friendly: Wally World has micro-fibre wash clothes that we bought just to take to Ireland. We liked them because they are light weight for packing, and dry very quickly. On travel mornings, we put the wet micro fibre wash cloth in a zip lock bag and then make sure it was the last item in on top, in our day bag which stayed in the back seat of our rental car. When we got out to the car, we would simply remove it from the zip lock, spread it out over the top of the day bag, and it would be totally dry after about 2 hours of driving, and then we stashed it back into the zip lock bag and day bag. We also took a micro-fibre bath-sized towel....just to have a spare in case, but primarily to roll up any items of sink laundry after you wring them out, in order to squeeze out the excess water, which allows the laundry to dry more quickly also....most of the time over night. The micor fibre tends to pull more mositure out of wet laundry, than a common bath towel.
