Three peninsulas or Dingle?

My husband and I will be in the southwest part of Ireland for 10 days in August 2013, we have our hotels booked and all that, now we are narrowing down different sites we want to see. This being our first trip here It seems to me that Dingle and the ROK are extremely popular. Doing some research I have discovered the Three peninsulas which to me look quite similar without all the tour busses et... If We can only visit one which one might you suggest? Oh and one other thing, I am having great difficulty finding a Michelin map, can you direct me where I could order one? Thanks so much for all your help!!!

If the three peninsulas are Dingle, ROK, and Beara, I would rank them as follows:

1. Beara

2. Dingle

3. ROK

In August, ROK will be a cluster of bus traffic and tourists, while Beara will be much more enjoyable, remote, and spectacular.  I really like Dingle as well, and always enjoy the Slea Head experience.

This video shows some of the Beara to watch.

Just to confuse matters, part of Beara is in Kerry and the rest in Cork. They had to draw the line somewhere. I love coming up Healy Pass and through the mountain pass into Kerry with the lakes and mountains spread out below. What a panorama!!

The beauty of touring the Beara Peninsula is no tour buses. ROK is the most heavily traveled route (by bus), with Dingle second after that. Beara's little roads do not support the behemoths.

Beara, Sheeps Head and Mizen the Cork peninsula's remain largely untouched by tourism unlike the Kerry peninsula's

The 702 Michelin should be available off Amazon although if you want a hand book map then the OSI atlas is the best buy also available off Amazon or direct from Ordnance Survey Ireland

Most of the day. A good 4 - 6 hours, depending on where you stop along the way.
