Too much for one day?

We will be staying at a cottage in Hollywood, Co. Wicklow...Can we drive to Newgrange and do the visitors center and at least one tomb, drive to Trim to see the castle and then on to Kilkenny...tour castle, crafts center and town.   Would it be better to save a whole day for Kilkenny?

Another week we will be staying in Aghabullogue, Co. Cork.  Is it possible to drive to Kenmare and do the Ring of Beara and be back to our cottage before dark?

Thanks in advance for all help.   Only 67 more days until we leave!!!

From Hollywood to Newgrange is approximately two hours of driving. If you want to be one of the lucky ones to actually get in to the tombs, you should really be there just at opening, which would mean a very early start from Hollywood. To try and fit all of what you have listed in one day, given the early rising and all, would for me, be too much

From Aghabullogue, you can do the Bear can one full day...again an earlier start makes for more stopping points... In May, you are getting in to longer days once again...which gives you more "before dark" time

I suggest a whole day for Co. Meath & Newgrange and another whole day for Kilkenny and surrounds. Beara as a day trip is doable.
