As some of you know my colleague and fellow Ireland enthusiast Pat Preston died a few years ago. After that her forum was over run with Spam. It seems her heirs have finally decided to shut it down: http://www.irelandexpertpatpreston.activeboard.com/b599245/notice/

Pat has been missed and her once excellent forum will be too. hmm

I agree that shutting down her forum is for the best. Without moderation a forum will not work.

I agree Michele. For the best.  With no one at the controls those of us who tried to help were overtaken by the legion of spam culprits.  The way it has been does not honor her memory or passion for helping others.
