Car for Six and Car rental, no Credit Card.

Hi, Michelle and all!  I can't believe that we are planning our 3rd trip to Ireland! Yea! I haven't been on the boards for a while. We had our last trip in 2012 and now we are planning for May 2014. This time, we are going with two other couples. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on van rental. Right now, we think two cars will be necessary, but I'd love to rent a van and have us all together. The two cars look much less expensive though. Any ideas? On another note, we rented from Dan Dooley, without a credit card,  from the US.  We paid before we left by debit card, here in the US and had to take out all insurance, but we do that anyway. Our car was waiting for us when we got there. No problems!

Thanks for any ideas on the van.

How nice that you are returning to Ireland again next year. Dooley has a mini bus that seats 8-9. I would think that would suffice as long as you don't bring a ton of luggage. I suggest you phone them in their NJ office and ask about it. The tough job is to make all your travel companions aware that they cannot bring the kitchen sink in their suitcases to Ireland!
