Although I have only viewed part I, I have enjoyed this visual history of Ireland from around 8000 BC through the Viking invasion and the death of Brain Boru around 1014.
It was very interesting how archaeologists have found much of Irelands early history buried in the bogs and how the bogs by nature have preserved that history.
Also interesting, how the early writers put Ireland at the center of the world in their translation of history by inserting the Irish into historic events.
I look forward to viewing the rest of the documentary soon.
