I want to thank everyone (guinness is the latest contributor) who has so generously funded the community chest on the forum. When I glanced at the total of $108.60 I thought I was having hallucinations.  That is enough to keep the forum ad-free for over a year!


A big THANK YOU to all who have donated. You are all the greatest!

I too was surprised when I saw $108.  I had to look twice.  I am amazed at the generosity of those who made those contributions.  Now this forum will definately be around for quite a while and I'll drink to that!

No worries about this forum going away. I would pay for it myself if there were no contributions. In fact I always paid for the old forum. This new one came with a funding function and I forgot to delete it when I signed up. Guess I won't be deleting it now!

Just an update for everyone on the amount in the community funding. The latest contributor accidently clicked on the "send" button twice. This mistake has been cleared up and the money refunded to her credit card. I wanted to let you know because of the change in the amount.

I always say, if a button on the computer doesn't work fast enough, just hit it ten or twenty times...works for me. Everybody should try it.
