When I've traveled in the past, the rating system for hotels and B&B's are quite different in different countries. What compares w/ the U.S system in Ireland?

4-star hotels in Ireland would be comparable to 4 diamond in the US. They range from one-star to 5-stars. Guesthouses range from one-star up to 4-stars.
