Although I have been to Fota Gardens I skipped the wildlife park as I didn't have time. So I don't know how many animals there are. Seems to have pretty good reviews online.
As much time as we have spent in the vicinity, I must confess that we have NEVER visited Fota!
It's been on our 'List' for years -- BUT, it's just been too hard to find the time -- seeing as the majority of the wife's cousins live only a few miles away.
As tempting as it appears, quality time with the Cousins ALWAYS trumps attractions, for us . . .
I've HEARD lots of good things about it, but . . .
Would LOVE to hear some 'First Hand' info.

They have a fair selection and you can get up close and personal with a few of them..More a wildlife farm / park than a zoo and cage set up.. It is compact and can get busy but well worth a couple of hours or so..

Thanks Tony. I will have to visit the wildlife park when I have more time and am not mesmerized by the garden walls dripping with wisteria. I guess I find flowers more of an attraction than animals.
