We are flying into Shannon and will drive to Cong, Galway, Cashel, Kenmare and back to Shannon. If we run into tolls are they manned booths that make change, require exact change or automatic charges on the car plate?
The only Barrier Free Toll that I'm aware of is on the M50 circling Dublin. All other tolls are Pay at Booth. I BELIEVE those are all staffed, but an assortment of coins on hand WILL speed up passage. In the vicinity of Shannon, the only Toll I am aware of is for the Limerick Bypass Tunnel under the Shannon. It was 1 Euro 90 the last I knew.
Perhaps Tony will 'chime in' with more current info.

Shannon Tunnel is the only toll I can think of on that list E1.90 for a car is current rate.. I always pay at the attended booth these days, lesson I learned having been stuck on the M4 toll using the coin net with a couple of coins that it just wouldn't take & had to over pay to get through.. Paying a grand for Road Tax anyway Tolls are not something I grin and bear easily..

I drove down from Sligo to Kerry and hit one toll as I approached Limerick. Last Friday. It cost 1.90 for the car. There were 4 area to drive into . 2 on the left were manned the other two had baskets you could through exact change into. Just pull up to one of the 2 manned and they will give you change.
