biggrin   Thanks for the Good Thoughts!  biggrin

And, Thanks, Tony, for arranging for the Good Weather to start our trip!  biggrin  biggrin

I've been watching the reports -- looks like I MIGHT only need a Light jacket!  smile

Now, if we can just get ANOTHER Fine day, either 23 or 24 June, for our Grandson and Son's trip through the Gap of Dunloe . . .  confuse  aww   confuse

Taxi scheduled for 12:30 (Eastern).  Flight is at 2:30 PM.  Scheduled arrival in Dublin (after a 6:40 PM Departure from Charlotte) is 7:15 AM (Dublin time) on Friday.  Three Round Towers (and a couple of High Crosses later, we check in to our Kilkenny hotel.

Have located the house that my wife's Great-Grandmother was born and raised and will be visiting it, this trip.  Will also be visiting with an Amateur Historian that is the current owner of the 'Big Farm' where my wife's Great-Grandfather was employed.  Will ALSO be following up leads to a Possibly still Living relative -- a 90-ish year-old Nun and a previously unknown (to us), Local Graveyard where family MIGHT be buried!  Exciting developments!  aww  aww

There will ALSO be another four or five Round Towers, a HUGE Family Gathering / SIGNIFICANT Birthday Party AND the opportunity to introduce Son and Grandson to Ireland!

We will TRY to enjoy ourselves . . . biggrin  biggrin  biggrin  biggrin  biggrin

Probably too late for Bob to read but the rest of us can be jealous together, since it was reported on another Ireland forum that the temps are ranging from 23-31c today! The heat wave is forecast to last thru the 23rd! Bob is in good graces with the weather gods for the start of this trip, it appears!
