Breakfast question

Hi Michele,

I know this is a fussy question.  In many of your recommendations of B&B's you describe the breakfast.  I notice in your entry on Lawndale in Galway, you don't.  Should I make anything of this?  Like your husband, I love a good hearty breakfast.

Thanks for so much you've already taught me.

Kevin,

Lawndale is one of the places that has been in my book since day one and I haven't greatly changed the description over the years (except when room updates were done).

The breakfast there is good. Perhaps not quite as many menu options as other places. But it is a small B&B so you really shouldn't expect as many bells and whistles as you will get in a guesthouse or a larger B&B. As one reader and forum member recently said about Lawndale "It is like staying with your favorite auntie". She loved Margaret's friendly Irish personality and interest in how her trip was going and suggestions on the area.

You will get a good hearty breakfast at Lawndale from "Auntie Margaret". And cups of tea and conversation in the sitting room in between.
