We are a family of four w/ two school age kiddos, ages 10 and 12. We have booked some of our B&B's and a hotel in Dublin, but have two destinations left. It does seem like the hotels have more amenities for kids- but then we'll be out and about and probably wouldn't even use a pool, etc.

Anyone have any places they'd recommend in Kilkenny and Killarney? I think we'd want to be in town, so we can do some of the pubs and don't plan to drive at night. I didn't get a response to one B&B I checked in Kilkenny, so I guess I need to keep looking. If you have a particular place in mind, please let me know WHY you enjoyed it.
