90 day stay

Hello All, we are recently retired pastors and wanting to spend 90 days or more (if they let us) traveling all over Ireland. If immigration won't allow us to stay past 90 days in Ireland, our plan B would be to go spend a month or so in England first, then cross over to Ireland.  Do you know if the 90 day limit for Ireland is consecutive or counting day at a time?  Also, do you know whether England is part of the same type 90 day limit as Ireland.  We are wanting our kids and grandkids to come visit us while we are in Ireland, which would be during the summertime while school is out.  So, could we go to say, England for a month, Scotland for a month, then on to Ireland for the summer, then back to England for our round trip air flight home?

Stephanie,

Welcome to the forum. How wonderful that you will get to spend lots of time in Ireland...and England and Scotland too. Your best advice will come from the Embassy of each place. They can advise you of all the rules and ins and outs of what you are proposing.
