Where to Experience (Maybe Try) Irish Dancing

Hello Friends,

I know I asked about dancing before and Mark and Michele kindly gave me some links.  However none of the dates and places meshed with our itinerary.  I've heard of Vaughan's but it seems they only have dancing on Thursday and Sunday nights, and even if not so, it would be out of our way to go there until the wee hours, since we don't plan to stay the night in Kilfenora.

So, I'm asking, since we'll be in Dublin, Killarney, Galway, and Ennis, is it likely we'll just happen upon places that have Irish dancing and where we might even be lucky enough to be taught a little how to do it?

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

I think that if you do find dancing it will be pure serendipity. When you are in each area ask your hosts, the local tourist office and also in town when talking with publicans and shopkeepers. Sometimes word of mouth is the best way to learn local things.
