My wife and I are absolute foodies, and love to try notable restaurants when we are traveling. This is the first time we'll be traveling with our daughter (she's 3 months old now) so are accepting the fact that we can't go to any of the Michelin rated restaurants in Dublin. Having said that, just because we are foodies doesn't mean we only love elaborate preparations and hefty price tags. In fact, my favorite food is a hot dog :)
Wanted to pick people's brains on what would be notable restaurants that we should try in Dublin while we are there that would be baby friendly. Given her sleep schedule, we'd eat relatively early, probably 5:30pm or 6pm.
Eating early means you get "early bird" prices, which will save you money. Here is a resource where you can choose city, cuisine, and read the menus and reviews: http://www.menupages.ie/ Probably a good place to start. Also, Google "child friendly restaurants in Ireland" for lots of suggestions too numerous to post here.
I recommend you try L. Mulligan Grocer. It's a nice gastropub with very good food and also an interesting selection of Irish microbrews. You can check out the menu on their website:
