Ennis B&B

Tony:

I recall a few years ago that you recommended Grey Gables B&Bs in Ennis as a good place to stay and a nice location to walk to pubs.  Have you stayed there recently, and is it still a place you would suggest?

Thanks,

Geno

Haven't stayed for the past couple of years, last year was a non starter and not had a night down there this year (yet) The location's as good as you can get sat between the station and the Old Ground, 2 minute walk onto O'Connell St. only problem I have is that the coffee stand is communal rather than in your room (I sometimes like a drink the middle of the night). The dining room is quite small so Mary likes to schedule breakfasts if she's busy.

I will chime in and let you know we stayed at Grey Gables last Oct. It Has great ratings on internet and the location is second to none (unless you want to be in one of the two downtown hotels). Facilities were great and Mary is very helpful, she arranged a horse riding lesson for our GD.
We had previously stayed at Sleepy Hollow B&B, and it was quite nice too, but a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Would stay at Grey Gables again with out giving it a second thought!
Regards
Dan
