Even though you are headed to No. Ireland you will still need some euros. Get some at the airport ATM before departing. There is a toll on the motorway north near Drogheda. Get a map. The car company will usually give you a basic one.

Thanks Michele. I have the map. Ordered a Collins map off amazon. And will remember to get some Euros. What's a good amount to start off with? And should I get some coin at a bank? Is there a bank close to the airport?

Just get euros at the ATM in the airport. No need to go searching for coins or banks. Since you are headed to No. Ireland you could get maybe 50 euro. You can always get more when you return to Dublin.
