Dingle or Ventry? B&Bs?

I actually have two related questions. My wife and I are planning to celebrate our anniversary in Ireland near the end of May and we'd like to spend two or three nights in either Dingle or Ventry. The online pictures of some Ventry B&Bs look gorgeous. But would it be too "sleepy" in Ventry as opposed to Dingle? I'm considering the following B&Bs in Ventry: Mount Eagle Lodge, Plough B&B, Torann na d'tonn B&B, Ceann Tra Heights B&B. In Dingle, I'm considering Cill Bhreac B&B. We'd really like a B&B with beautiful views from the rooms. Does anyone have experience with these B&Bs? Thanks for any advice you can give. JJTarghee

RE: Dingle or Ventry? B&Bs?

jjtarghee,

Dingle is not that large a town and Ventry is really just a wide spot on the road to Slea Head. I think you may be happier closer to Dingle town. If you have not yet done so, go to my "Lodgings" page for some places that I recmmend in Dingle.

If you are up for a splurge I highly recommend Emlagh House. Nearby is a smaller B&B (also with great views) called Emlagh Lodge.
