Ireland in November?

Michelle,

I was thinking of planning a trip to Ireland in November and wanted to know if this is a bad time to go. I saw in an earlier post that May was a great time to go. However I am in the Military and time wasnt on my side this year so I am thinking November.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Rob,

There is no bad time to visit Ireland as long as you know what it will be like when you are there. November weather will be cool and may be rainy. Days are short so plan sightseeing accordingly. You don't want to be driving at night in Ireland unless you have to. Many things start closing at the end of October including B&Bs and sightseeing so plan carefully. Try to stay in larger towns or cities where there will be more going on, more lodgings to choose from, etc.
