Hello Michele-

We're planning a 14 day visit to Ireland in September and don't know how much money we need to take. Do most gas stations accept credit cards? What about pubs and restaurants?

Welcome to the forum! Yes, most petrol (gas) stations take credit cards. Most pubs that serve food take them, however there may be a few that don't.  Restaurants take them. Take a look at my "Money" page for lots more. Just click on IrelandYes Index and Money. Many B&Bs prefer cash.
