Though not in Kilkenny, Lawcus Farm Guesthouse is on the outskirts and is in a fabulous setting! mark Fisher takes excellent care of his guests. I booked for two days and ended up staying four.

In Kilkenny, along with Alcantra & Laragh, which are excellent, I would recommend Hillgrove. The Drennan's take special pride in their gardens. They are always ready to help you pan your itinerary for the day and are very knowledgeable in regards to ethe Kilkenny area.
