Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that the Holohan's at Alcantra B&B in Kilkenny are scaling back a bit on doing B&B. They have informed me that they will only be accepting repeat guests and those who have my book and mention my name.

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) for 4 days to book a room at Alcantra. I've called & emailed, to no avail. I mentioned the book in my email, not that it seemed to help. I'm not sure what's up....

They could be out of town for a while. Try Laragh House. It is lovely.

I just received a response from Liam today. They have been on holiday. It was no problem booking for April 23rd.

I'm glad to hear Liam & Brigid are back home again. It was just as I suspected. After all it is the time of year for B&B owners to have a break themselves. Thanks for the update and I'm glad you got your reservations at Alcantra.

I'm glad they are still taking repeats and folks from you!  That was my best B&B ever, and I will definitely be calling them again next time I'm in Kilkenny :)
