Sadly, it was reported on ireland.com today that the Diageo Corporation (errrr, Guinness) is raising it's price to publican's. That's expected to spark an increase of aprrox. E.08 per pint. I guess I'll just have to start sleeping in the car.

I guess we may have to become teetotlers.  Would you believe I actually heard of newlyweds who slept in their car during their honeymoon in Ireland? Now that is weird...and cheap!!

As for the "Honeymoon on the Cheap", exactly how long did thta marriage last? THat would be as bad as when my ex-husaband took me to McDonald's on Kauai for our first honeymoon dinner and then looked for every sizzler in Hawaii because they had large enough portions we could split! JMJ, hostels are cheap enough!

How romantic! Thanks to the drive-through at McDonald's honeymooners can enjoy breakfast in bed every morning.

I'll warn family and friends that I'll be sending fewer postcards this trip to buy Guinness. Fortunately, in my circle, they will be very understanding.
