DERRY - where to stay- in or around DERRY

Traveling to Ireland for first time in May. Would like to stay either in Derry or somewhere near Derry- suggestions.. Any places in Derry that were highlights for music etc. My husband is a singer/songwriter and very interested in the music scene. I wish to drive down to Dungiven where my great grandmother was from so... ANy input appreciated - THANKS!!

I recommend Ballycarton House in Limavady. Lovely B&B and very nice host. It is near the areas you are intereted in. You will find a link on my "Lodgings" page. I hope that works for you.
