irelandbound,

Most of your time is taken up with your tour. I see that you need to choose a few things.

On Day 4 you need to choose between Gap of Dunloe, Blarney Castle and Muckross House.
* I suggest you look at each option below and decide what most appeals to you.

On Days 6 & 7 in Dublin you are on your own. * There is much to see and do in Dublin. Look at the following website for ideas: www.visitdublin.com

Thank you again Michele.  I would be interested in all of these, but would be interested to know what your favorite woulld be...
Gap of Dunloe, Blarney Castle, or Muckross House

Also, we can go where we want to in Dublin, but these are some tours that are offered through our company.  Would you have a favorite from this list?

Powerscourt House & Gardens and Glendalough, Malahide Castle and North Dublin Coastal Tour, Kilkenny City, or Discover Dublin City Tour.

Lastly, any good suggestions on where to eat before going to The Abbey?

Thanks again!

irelandbound,

If the weather was good I would choose the Gap of Dunloe tour. Otherwise it would be Muckross House, gardens and traditional farms. If you did Muckross you could easily see Torc Waterfall, Muckross Abbey and Ross Castle too.

In Dublin I would choose the Wicklow tour going south to Powerscourt and Glendalough. You can easily do the hop-on hop-off bus tour of Dublin City on your own.

A quick early dinner at your hotel before the theater might work for you. Otherwise, the concerige at your hotel can recommend a restaurant of the type you want and within a certain budget that you tell them of.

Thank you again Michele.  It is just wonderful that you are so helpful and I love your website!

Can you make any recommendations and/or links for tour companies in Killarney and Dublin that you trust to book these tours?

Sorry Michele.  I guess that I need to look around a little more before asking questions since you have already made recommendations for day tours on another post...

Great sites Michele and a lot less expensive than the optional tours offered through the company.

irelandbound,

Yes, it is generally cheaper to book day tours yourself rather than go through the tour company. If you do the Gap of Dunloe tour you will want to get the all-inclusive price (including the horse and cart).
