I'm glad you enjoyed them. I was just sorting through some old photos, getting psyched up for my upcoming trip at the end of April, and thought I'd post a few.

Thom,

Thanks for sharing such marvelous pictures. I, too, love the goat path shot. It look as if the goat was sharing a laugh with you! I also loved the Veterinary shot. Do you suppose the dog was on his way for a check-up?

Go Raibh Mil Math Agat,

Bit Devine

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos Bit. We had walked down to the light house at the end of the Sheepshead Peninsula, and on our way back the goat decided to block our path. After a few menacing bleats, we decided tostep into the muck to get around the itinerant beast !

I'm not sure if the Dingle dog was feelinga little under the weather after a Saturday night pub crawl, but he did seem to be looking for something from the vet ! haha!!

Hi Tommy,
Nice photos. Especially viewing Fitzgeralds in Avoca. I was looking to see Hendley's and St Joseph church when we had visited their. We always followed the Ballykissangel show when it was on BBC. I'm ready to go back. Pack me in your suit case, and promise to be good.smile
have a great trip.

Hi Gary,

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I too was ( am) a big fan of the "Ballykissangel" series. When I arrived in Avoca, I half expected to see Liam and Donal sitting on the benches outside the pub. Even though I knew that most of the interior filming for the series was done in a Dublin stdio it was a little disappointing to walk into Fitzgeralds and not see the familiar set. Hendly's, of course never really existed in the village. St. Joseph's was very much the real McCoy though and if Father Mac had walked through the door I would not have been surprised !

I am a big proponent of packing light, and for my three week trip I will have all my stuff contained in my carry on backpack....so unless you are of Lilliputian dimensions, I'm afraid I'll have to leave you home on this trip ! hahaha!!!

Slainte
