Hurling? Anyone been to see one of these pro games..? What time of the year does hurling take place?

We were fortunate to have attended a local senors (over 21) match in mid-June of 2005.  Found it quite facinating AND a bit confusing. biggrin
Finals appear to take place in September.  The attatched link indicates that play begins around April:
