When I booked our B&B in Cashel, I explained to our hosts that it will be a long day for us, with the driving from Castleisland to Waterford (and the shopping, Lord help my wallet!weirdface) to Cashel.

They asked if we were coming via the scenic Vee Drive. As this plan came together very recently, I haven't had time to map a Waterford to Cashel route.

Can anyone shed any light on the Vee and is there a place where I can map this out?

I can never thank you all enough!

Chris,

The Vee Drive goes from Lismore north to Cahir.It would be out of your way. I will let you decide how much time you have and if you will be taking that route.

Thanks Michelle!

I was concerned that it might be so. Considering all the driving that day, the shortest trip possible from Waterford to Cashel would be best.

This way, I can save my energy for the Rock, Bru Boru and a slow, backroad journey back to the cottage.

Check to see if the Bru Boru musical show is on while you are in Cashel.
