Hello,
It seems surprising that the Ennis Hotels would be booked already. I stayed at the Temple Gate Hotel right in the center of Ennis last year and we found it very good and certainly big enough to handle your group. I checked their website (http://www.templegatehotel.com/) and noticed that reservations are not available past February, 2008. I would guess that they have not yet posted anything further. Have you sent emails with your requests? Good Luck.

I was surprised too when I was trying to navigate the on-line reservations sites. To me it appeared that they had no available rooms.

Thank you for the suggestion. I just emailed Temple Gate Hotel. It looks charming. The location is perfect.

Benny,

The online reservation booking engines often show nothing available. I inquired once and was told that only a certain number of rooms is released at a time. I suggest emailing or phoning instead to get the real answers.

Either the Old Ground or Temple Gate would be good places to stay and right in town.

Thank you. I have just faxed a request for information from the Old Ground Hotel. Their website also looks wonderful. Hopefully one of these two grand hotel will have room for my group in February.

We are getting very excited about our trip already. The book festival is an event we hope to attend every year. After it is over we plan on spending at least 4-5 days exploring a different section of the country.
