During our jaunting cart ride today, my daughter, Kasey started talking with a lady from the states. They walked on ahead, giving the horses a bit of a break and my other daughter, Keely, remarked, "Kasey has found a friend." Turned out it was Helen! Anyway, after a great tour of the Gap of Dunloe, we are looking forward to meeting up with Helen and the rest of the gang tomorrow. Wish ALL of you could be here. You have all been so helpful.
How wonderful to meet Helen even before the big meet-up in Dingle. I really think that nice people attract other nice people. And in the middle of the Gap of Dunloe no less. Have a fantastic time at Murphy's!
Michele
P.S. Don't think of it as only 3 days left in Ireland. Think of it as time to start planning your next trip!
I hope you had a wonderful time Marie. We did when we were there a couple of weeks ago. I just had to add that I have a daughter named Keely as well. I love this name!
Hi Marie! My Keely is only 3 and everyone loves her name. I do have to repeat it a few times and even spell it for some people to understand what I'm saying. Her name suits her perfectly. How about yours?
I cannot imagine her with any other name. Of course, I warned her that she would spend lots of time correcting folks who think her name is Kelly. She is 24 now. Lots of family and friends call her "Kee". The origin is Gaelic, although we were told it is a surname now. It means "beautiful", or so I am told. Fits them both, I am sure.
We haven't had anyone call her Kee, but we have had Keekee. I found the name in a baby name book of all places and it did say it meant beauty and grace in Gaelic. I thought, "perfect choice"!
