4 days in Dublin in Nov., can I go to Glendalough?

For my first visit to Ireland, I only have four days in and around Dublin (public transportation, no car rental) in mid-November.  Is it possible to get to Glendalough on a bus or train?  If so, is there a B&B to stay at overnight, or must it be a day trip?

RWB,

Welcome to my forum! You can choose to do Glendalough as a day trip or you can take a bus down and stay for the night. Either option is doable. Riversdale is my favorite B&B in the area. It is perhaps a 15 minute walk to Laragh. A bit closer is Pinewood. And right in town is a small hotel Lynham's of Laragh. If you choose to stay in one of them you will be happy.
