Curling Irons & Electricity

The last time I was in Ireland (2004), I purchased a curling iron in Galway.  I understand Ireland has 220 current and NI has 240.  I'm assuming that using that curling iron in Northern Ireland will require a convertor, correct?

Counting down to Wednesday departure.  Yeaaaa

RE: Curling Irons & Electricity

Merle --

Your Irish curling iron should be FINE to use UN-CONVERTED in N.I.  Ireland and ALL of the UK are fully compatable, electrically -- you won't even need a plug adapter, as the UK uses the same, three prong plug.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP !!!!!!    biggrin biggrin  biggrin biggrin

Merle,

As Bob says your curling iron should not be a problem. It sounds like you are good to go. I hope you have a wonderful trip. Bon voyage! Do let us know how it goes when you get back.
