What is your traveling style? Do you like to be on the go and pack everything into a day that you possibly can? Or do you prefer to take your time seeing things and have some down time?
I would like to have time to wander around the towns, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or a pub. I don't want to spend all day driving. If I can limit drives to a couple of hours it would be nice. But too much down time is not good either.
There are always compromises to make when planning a trip. You must decide what is most important and cross the other places off your list. You are limited to 10 days. Is Galway and Connemara more important than the SW? I think one of them should go. Also doing Galway and Connemara from Lahinch is not the best plan. You will spend too much time going back and forth.
I honestly don't know area which is better to see - Galway or the SW.. I want to enjoy lovely scenery, quaint towns, the people. Which area would you say was the better one to leave off
if I was to keep the Galway Connemara area in and it is too far from Lahinch ( I assume that is the Doolin area) , would it be better to travel from Killarney up to a town that is closer to the Connemara area?
Personally, I think you should cut Connemara and add more time to Killarney. There is just so much to do and see in the area. The ROK will take an entire day. Dingle is another day. Plus you want to see the Killarney area. That makes three days minimum.
Adare would be a reasonable detour, enroute from Killarney to Doolin, if you plan to take the ferry, OR, it is on the way, if you opt to drive to Doolin via Limmerick and Ennis.

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my website. Be sure to look at my "Lodgings" page for suggested places to stay. Once you have my book you will have even more options.
See day-by-day suggestions below:
24 May Arrive Dublin 25 May Dublin - Where to stay? * Look at my Lodgings page.
26 May Drive to Kilkenny- visit Instioge - other suggestions? Stay at butler House * You can easily fill the day by just seeing Kilkenny City, the castle, churches and cathedral. See my "Discounts" page for Corey's free walking tour of the city.
27 May Drive Kilkenny to Kinsale via Lismore, Cahir and Cobh Stay at Old Presbytery * Do the Vee Drive.
28 may Explore Kinsale area - any suggestions? * Charles Fort, James Fort, the town and (if time) Cobh.
29 May Drive to Kenmare via Ring of Beara. Stay at loch lein or at Sallyport. * Loch Lein is in Killarney not Kenmare. You will need to decide which town to stay. The coast of west Cork and Beara are very scenic and slow-going. If you want to fit everything I suggest an early start. Out the door by 9:30. Another option is to see Bantry House & Gardens, and Ilnacullin Gardens on Garinish Island on the way and do Beara tomorrow.
30 may Drive to Dingle for a days drive. Return to kenmare for overnight. * A bit too far for a day trip. Instead do Killarney or local things like Seafari, Druid's Circle, Reenagross Park, etc.
31 May Drive Kenmare to Adare - questions: what to see and do en route? Is it worth overnighting there at all? Should I rather stay an extra day in Kenmare region? How long will it take to drive drive via Adare on to Doolin if I decide not to overnight in Adare? * I would opt for an overnight in Dingle instead.
01 June Drive from Adare to Doolin. See Cliffs of Moher Stay at Cullinans or Dubhlinn House * You could visit Adare today but you will have to backtrack a bit to catch the Shannon ferry. Not much to see on the way to Adare. You could consider skipping Adare.
02 June See Burren area then go to Bunratty. See castle Stay at The Courtyard. * Bunratty Lodge has just lowered their rates to 29.95 euros per person (without breakfast): http://www.bunrattylodge.com/ Worth checking out.
