Since you have two weeks you may want to consider each week in a different location. If you give me an indication of what you want to see in Ireland I can tell you what places would be good bases.

To answer your questions:

Is it possible to rent condos for two weeks stays? Yes.

Any idea of the costs? It depends on the place. You can find places for 350 euro up to thousands per week.

Any suggestions for specific rentals? I have a list of places in my book. However, once you narrow down your choices I will see if I have personal recommendations in the areas you want.

Any suggestions for better alternatives? The lowest cost accommodation in Ireland is hostels, followed by B&Bs, then guesthouses. Self-catering is a good cost-effective alternative especially when several people are traveling together and can split the cost. In your case self-catering is an excellent option.
