Scotland Guidebook

My wife and I spent 2+ weeks driving all around Ireland in 2003, and had a wonderful trip, primarily using the Best Little Guidebook to Ireland as our bible. Are there any similar guidebooks for Scotland - we are starting to plan a 2009 summer trip to Scotland and Ireland for our 25th anniversary.
Thanks,
Ken

Michele's book is a One-Of-A-Kind.biggrin

Dunno about any SPECIFIC guide books, but for our little Scotland excursion this past June, I relied HEAVILY on the Scottish Tourist Board web-site:

www.visitscotland.com

There is a form to request booklets and maps and I remember that they were VERY quick in getting them mailed.

Ken,

I'm glad my book was a hit! As Bob says my book is unique. I like his suggestion of the Scottish Tourist Board for info. Also, go to the library and check out books and the bookstore to look through them. Once you find one that you like and fits your style buy the most up to date one.

Scotland is beautiful. I especially liked the Isle of Skye.

Thanks,
We received the brochure off the website which reviewed the different regions pretty well. I'll check out the website some more - most of the Books on Scotland I've checked out so far at Borders/B&N have been cookie cutter. All of Michele's B&B/sightseeing recommendations were right on the mark.
