ok we are going to book at the olde bakery in kinsale,i just got an email response from them, but i'm not having much luck with dublin areas b&bs? what are your recommendations? thank you
What did you decide with regard to vouchers? Are you using them or not? What are you looking for in Dublin? A hotel, B&Bs, guesthouses? Do you want to be right downtown in the close-in best area? Are the outskirts okay? Do you have a certain budget per person? What are your dates for Dublin?
well we decided against the vouchers -looking for b&b on the outskirts of dublin(don't want to drive in the city.dates are july 28-29.looking for about 40 euro per person any opinion on the olde bakery?(kinsale) thank you
Pretty hard sticking to 40 euro pps around Dublin. Bewley's Hotels have some very low room rates. I would opt for Beechwood Country House in Malahide but it is about 10 euro more than you want to pay. You can take DART or a bus into Dublin city center from Malahide, which is a very nice upscale village.
I haven't inspected the Olde Bakery but believe it is right in town. If so, it might be noisy at night. They don't really give the exact location on the website.
