I just joined this forum and have been enoying reading everyones hints for trip success.  My husband and I along with his sister and her husband have tickets for May 6 returning May 17 on Aer Lingus.  My second trip to Ireland, everyone elses first.  I ordered Michele's book, but opted to wait for the new edition in March... wondering if that was a mistake, as it sounds like it would be very useful right now.   We have taken advantage of Michele's Loch Lein special and have rooms reserved there for our first 2 nights.  I just read on here someone's description of their stay there, and it sounded wonderful.   So glad we decided to spring for it!  I'm trying to book the Shores in Dingle for the 3rd night, and then we have a cottage booked at Miltown Malbay for the remaining week.  When can I expect the book to arrive in March, would I be better advised to request 2007 copy instead?  Does anyone have any suggestions for "do not miss" on the Dingle Peninsula?

Welcome to my forum! I have family living in Lakeland Florida. It is a small world.

Yes, my book has lots to see and do on the Dingle Peninsula. If you prefer the 2007 edition, just send me an email and it will go right out to you. It is not changing greatly in 2008 (available at the end of March). You can get any of the updates right here. Since you are leaving in early May I suggest you get the 2007 version right now. Let me know.
