Can you buy Eircom calling cards at the Shannon airport?  I recall reading on the forum that the cards are a good alternate to cell phones.

You can get the eircom card at SNN and DUB. They work great. WC

Yes, they have them in the shop and the tourist office. Get the kind with the toll-free number and PIN.
