B and B vs self-catering

Michele,

Now that I'm working through our itinerary organising accommodation, I was wondering if we would be better off staying in self-catering accommodation in Dingle and/or Kenmare, since we will be there for 4 and 5 nights respectively. Have read Jill's trip report (with reference to Dingle) and she got me thinking. With a full month in Ireland, that's a lot of eating out, and I think we would be looking for some nights eating in. I know the Blooming Wildflower Cottage has a self catering apartment. Are there any others in Dingle and Kenmare that you and your members can recommend?

Also, KelliJo's report (thanks KelliJo!) mentioned trad on the prom at the Salthill Hotel. There is a show the Sunday night we are in Galway. If we decide to see it, (I adored Riverdance) should we book tickets via the website before we go?

Reserve Trad on the Prom. It is very popular. 

Did you look at my Self-catering page? It explains all about it. In September the rentals maybe available for less than a week. Start contacting people now.
